Lovingly designed in Surrey, all the products are hand made, sanded, polished or varnished and finished with precision and attention to detail. We do believe that ants are the most interesting and amazing creatures on the planet.


Sitting near them and watching their daily cares about their eggs and pupa give us the opportunity to discover a bit more about their incredible world also gives us an insight into the world surrounding us. Love of ant keeping for more than 17 years guides us to a whole new level.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Please note that guaranteed live arrival is currently only applicable to domestic UK orders at this point and lasts 24 hours.

We do look to increase this to the EU shortly. At present please note that Queen Ants being purchased and sent to the EU/Worldwide are fully at the buyers risk. Please do research about your countries laws and customs restrictions before purchasing.

We do of course take every care to ensure live goods are packaged safely and securely. We endeavour to ensure the lowest possible risk in transit.

We guarantee live arrival on all live ant orders (applies to (domestic UK orders ONLY) Queens only for colonies, not workers or brood). In the rare occasion, if you received your order and discover your Queen arrived dead on arrival, we will offer a 100% refund of the ant's cost. In all instances, we require you to provide a photograph with the tamper-evident seal fully intact on the day of delivery if there is a problem with your queen.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure they have undertaken enough research to be able to look after the insects and provide them with the correct conditions. Please note that you MUST use an ant escape prevention such as Fluon PTFE, Vaseline or similar applied all around the edges of the ant's outworld (ant escape prevention liquid etc. is not included in any of the setups).

Please note that our live arrival guarantee only applies to the queen that has died during postage, anything past 24 hours is no longer due to postage.

ANY foul play in the attempt of trying to get an extra ant colony for free will not be tolerated. Anyone who is caught trying to do so will be blacklisted and we will inform other sellers of your identity.

Returns & Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as live goods cannot be returned.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within five business days.

Exchanges (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email and we'll send you details of what to do next.

To return your product, you should mail your product directly to us in the UK.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
